Do you play trumpet, trombone or other brass instrument, saxophone (especially baritone sax), or percussion? If you do, there‘s a place in Horns of Plenty for you.
Horns of Plenty is Oxford’s community street band, playing a lively mix of Township Jazz, New Orleans, Afrobeat, Soul, Reggae, Ska, Latin, Balkan and other kinds of music. We are a mixed-ability band. It’s a great band band for people who learned to play an instrument at school and would like to get back into playing. Members of the band contribute a small amount towards costs of each rehearsal they attend. We are particularly keen to recruit brass and percussion players.
We rehearse every Tuesday 7-9pm at East Oxford Community Centre, 44 Princes St, Oxford OX4 1DD
If you would like to join Horns of Plenty please email us at email@example.com, or get in touch via the contact page, or just drop in for a listen. We have a newcomers’ session on the first Tuesday of every month, 7-9pm at East Oxford Community Centre. All welcome
